The POUR’d Experience is a guided candle making workshop offering guests an opportunity to craft and create their own custom candles. We aim to provide a memorable experience for scent enthusiasts and candle lovers of all skill levels. Our team is seeking an engaging instructor to lead and assist in these workshops. As an instructor, you will guide guests through the entire candle-making process, ensuring a fun, safe, and educational environment.

Qualifications: 

• 2+ years professional experience in customer service or retail 
• Experience in teaching or leading workshops
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiastic, punctual, and friendly, with a passion for candles and fragrance
• Flexibility to work according to class schedule, including weekends and evenings
• Detail-oriented and organized

What you’ll do:

• Instruct and assist with our candle making classes
• Greet and check in guests upon arrival while representing the brand with a professional demeanor and a customer-focused approach
• Provide clear and concise instructions on candle making techniques and safety procedures
• Assist guests in selecting and creating scents for their candles
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the class
• Engage with participants to foster a welcoming and creative atmosphere
• Troubleshoot any issues or questions that arise during the candle making process
• Clean and reset classroom for each class including refilling wax and oils, restocking jars, and preparing workstations and supplies
• Assist with in-house candle production and order fulfillment during non-class periods

Preferences & Compensation:

• Available to work weekends (classes are usually held Thursday through Sunday)
• Ability to reliably commute to Dallas, TX 75228 
• Hourly rate based on experience, paid weekly
